Updates and info on past statements
We've had several requests for advice or other suggestions from PIEPR directors and others 'on the team' and the Advisory Group (HERE) on issues that Robin had actually already covered on pages on the PIElink and elsewhere (including in the two books - well worth a read!).
But sometimes these pages are spread all over the site in different locations, and they aren't so easy to find, as a coherent picture. So we thought we'd put here the key links to some of these statements.
NB: The fact that Robin wrote these - sometimes a few years ago - doesn't mean that these are, or have to be, PIEPR company policy (HERE) for the future; only that they make a fairly coherent picture. This is what's behind most of my suggestions. And that is why, in a hurry, we are always checking back with you to ask if you are in board with this?
So here's a brief summary of some key points; and links to where you can read the full picture, if you need to; or for that matter point others towards it, if you are ever asked.

Sustainable income
Ther are several pages that discuss the 'business model' that Robin had proposed for his retirement/succession plan, whch sees grants and other funding as necessary to get into gear; PIE Abacus income as a (perhaps fairly modest initially) source of income (HERE); and licenced access to the PIElink Library materials for Higher Education as the more significant market in the longer term (HERE).
Intellectual property
Robin owns outright the intellectual property of the Pizazz. He has chosen to make it freely available in the pen and paper format, but under the terms of a Creative Commons licence (HERE). That does NOT cover its use in software; which is why he can take a slice of the Abacus licence fee, and can then licence its use to PIEPR.
The Intellectual Property of PIElink content is a more complex matter, as by virtue of publication it is 'in the public domain', and so can be used by anyone.
Relationshops in PIEs 2 (and the Pizazz and Abacus)
There is a description of why Robin chose NOT to make 'Relationships' one of the key strands (or 'Themes') in PIEs 2.0 here (HERE): HERE. In short, it's because it's everywhere, and not a distinct strand.
Nevertheless, for those that WOULD like to highlight relationships as a central issues, there is advice in the book (HERE) at to how to do this; and on how to do this with the Pizazz and the PIE Abacus.
