Please note: there was no April newsletter, as the editor was on a field trip in the US, and the technology is so much harder to work. Likewise, no May issue, to give us time to process so much new material from the US trip.
The June issue is briefer than most. It featured three articles on trauma; one film, and two announcements:
- “Six key principles of a trauma-informed approach” – a useful summary
- “How Common Trauma Reactions May Explain Some “Difficult” Behaviors or Reactions Within Homeless Service Settings” – a handy training tool
- “Trauma in human experience” – revised introduction chapter
- “Camp Take Notice, Ann Arbor” – a short film that shows a very different side of homelessness in the US
- The Virtual Drop In – announcing a new action learning initiative for PIElink members
- Housing First – the new social psychiatry? – announcing a (re-named) new PIEs workshop in Central London
Plus other news of up-coming conference, events, webinars, work in progress etc
Please get in touch with any news or upcoming events you’d like us to feature in the next edition
