An opportunity opens
An exciting opportunity is arising this year for an enterprising organisation - one with social purpose at its heart - to take a lead in service and systems innovation to meet some of the thorniest challenges in contemporary society.
Interesting? Now read on.
(And for more, follow links; but do watch the video at the end...)

The concept of a psychologically informed environment (a 'PIE') has already played a key role in changing the way that homelessness services in the UK work. Once seen as a backwater, this area is now acknowledged as providing 'cutting edge' learning on meeting complex needs.
The core ideas of PIE are now being explored and developed in a range of other areas of social policy and practice, from schools to sports facilities, in substance abuse and criminal justice services, in assisting local integrated care models to identify and fill gaps, and beyond.

From Easter of 2026, all the resources of the key central communications platform, the PIElink’s online community of practice, will be opened up and available to any organisation with the vision and capacity to fully realise the potential in this work (including all forums, the intellectual property of the software, existing training and assessment materials etc.)

- For any interested party, this field does not need to be your core business or mission. It needs simply to be compatible with it; and the successful organisation will be one with the capacity to:
- grasp the vision and opportunity, nationally and globally
- develop the business plan, including funding opportunities for product development
- work collaboratively with others to maximise credibility and momentum

There is plenty more information on the pages of this website; and any interested parties can freely browse around.
For those new to PIEs, here you will find outlines and discussions of the key ideas, with many, many examples of actual practice in services. For a general introduction, a good place to start - which we usually recommend to new members - is the 'START HERE!' page (HERE)
