Assistant and Trainee Psychologists in Homelessness Network  

The Assistant and Trainee Psychologists in Homelessness Network is a space for connection and reflection, sharing best practice, research reading, collaborative working, and learning/presentations.

Currently facilitated on the Third Monday of the Month

(BUT due to the bank holiday the next meeting is Tuesday 22nd April at 3pm.

NB: We aim to alternate days following this, to allow more potential members to join, despite other time commitments.

Examples of reflections facilitated so far include

  1. PIE/Pretreatment/Trauma-Informed Approaches overlap and differences,
  2. longevity of psychological implementation and
  3. impact for trainees on 6-month placements,
  4. industry competencies,
  5. reflective practice models and facilitation,
  6. multi-agency working and partnership building,
  7. DClin Psych application peer support.

Proposed future collaborative work:

  • Shadowing opportunities across services,
  • role presentations,
  • PIElink resource bank for APs/Trainees, e.g. videos, articles, etc.
